Book 3 in the Fitting In Series
Previous Book Sorting Out
Next Book Going Deep
Bryce has been a firefighter for ten years, but when a horrific house fire leaves him reeling, he moves to a new city, hoping to shove those memories behind him. As he adjusts to his new station, Bryce keeps to himself until Matt and Toby, two hot young men in his unit, throw temptation in his path. Bryce knows better than to mess around with men he works with, especially two newbies who are in the closet. But after a difficult day, Matt and Toby offer him compassion and friendship, which slips so easily into sex Bryce finds the combination irresistible.
Matt and Toby want to expand their relationship to include a third, and they've set their sights on their sexy bear of a lieutenant. Their first night together is a scorcher, and, more than that, it feels right, to all of them. But since Bryce refuses to hide who he is, and dating men on his shift is against the rules, all three men are going to have to make some tough choices if they want to stay together.

The third installment of the “Fitting In” series turns the focus on a minor character introduced in the previous book. Bryce is a fireman recently moved to town for a new start. Things are going well, although he finds two men on his shift, Toby and Matt, very attractive. But, they already seem to be a couple, and they're much younger than Bryce; oh, and he's their supervisor, so a relationship seems out of the question.Bryce's dilema in “Burning Up” is similar to that faced by Mason in the first book in the series, Fitting In. However, while he is justly concerned about coming between Toby and Matt, he has the added ethical conflict of being their boss. He's already skating on thin ice by not getting one of them to change shifts. Getting involved with them would definitely cross a line that shouldn't be crossed.
Each of the three main characters comes across as a real individual. Matt, Bryce and Toby have their own quirks and personalities that are quite believable. The situation set up in the book may seem a little far-fetched, but the drama it introduces seems very realistic and unforced.
Mason, Jack and Gray from the first two books make a few appearances in this story, but if you haven't read volumes one and two, you won't bee too much in the dark reading this installment of the series independently.

Burning Up Fitting In Book 3 edition by Silvia Violet Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This was the story of Toby, Matt and Bryce. Bryce was featured in the previous book, all three men are firefighters. But, this is exactly the same story as the previous ones, all except, they’re firemen and they have different names. Same angst, two men woe,one together and can’t move to other departments because they’re afraid to work without the other, the third in the relationship scared to commit, same spiel recycled.
Disappointing, skip it.
Matt and Toby are a couple and have being for a while. Toby has become Matt's sole family after Matt has fallen out with his. They chose to become firefighters and are now serving together. Something that is not actually allowed for committed couples.
Bryce has moved from Atlanta after a specially bad fire where a whole family had died. He is attracted to those two young men, but has no intention to intervene into their relationship. But he has not counted with their interest in him. After all, they know a threesome that seems to work just fine.
There are some humps and dumps on the way, of course. There would otherwise not be a story to write about. Bryce is a bit apprehensive to make big changes in his life, especially so short time after he has arrived. He has some inner struggle to combat, but at the end he decides to invest in the love he feels for those two younger men. That it is worth all necessary changes.
Toby and Matt are going to find out that Bryce is just the man to give them what they both need - both outside and inside the bedroom.
There is a fire station, some fires, a bar, some alcohol, a nice dog and lots of love involved in this story.
Another great story in the series about three gay guys who are considering entering into a relationship, and all the ramifications that could entail - possible heartache if it didn't work long term, or if it would work at all. Matt and Toby, each are age 22 and firefighters who have been friends since their teens, when Toby's family "adopted" Matt after his family catches him with another guy and dos owns him. Bryce, age 32, also a firefighter, moved from another state when he was unable to save a family whose home caught fire and burned. He still suffers from that memory. He's still a firefighter, but moonlights as a bartender. Matt and Toby visit the bar, and are attracted to Bryce, and vice-versa, but Bryce doesn't even want to think about any possibility of a relationship with the two younger guys. Silvia Violet tackles the situation in detail. It's an interesting scenario.
I love these men!!! Another beautifully written love story of a MMM relationship.. The story line flows well and the character development was amazing. The connection with the first 2 novels in the series makes a for a great story!! Bryce was a firefighter that came from Atlanta to get away from a tragic event in his line of work. He is the lieutenant of one of the fire department stations and he is out to those around him. He also works with Mason at the bar which ties them all together. He meets Matt & Toby who are two of his firefighters & a couple, and the three have a strong attraction to each other. Bryce is afraid to act on this because of the rules of the FD, plus he was their superior. Mason, Gray, and Jack, the other MMM couple have been encouraging him to follow his heart...so one night Matt and Toby ask him to come home with them since he was having emotional problems with the event that happened in Atlanta... so they can talk. Well, between the attraction, the booze, and the emotions, the situation becomes more than just talk. Bryce is a natural Dominant and that is something that Matt & Toby crave. So the three fit well together. Bryce struggles with the fact that someone would find out in their jobs and decides to break it off.... When an almost tragedy happens with Matt getting hurt, the three realize they want and need each other, in fact they express their love for one another... Now its time to figure out what they have to do.....This is a beautiful, touching, heartwarming story of 3 wonderful men who make a threesome work. Hot, Hot Sex goes throughout the story with Bryce taking control. Such a turn on!!! Loved this story. I highly recommend this whole series. Must Read!!
