It’s been a long while since I’ve finished a series and actually felt satisfied with the conclusion. But I do find I can “let go” of the Guardians series when it ends the way it has. But we still had to get through the ever darkening fate of the world and one hell of a mating to get to first. At this point, I’m just going to free-flow my thought in a slightly spoilery way…• Hroarr, Hroarr, Hroarr… you misunderstood alpha male. You may appear to be arrogant, demanding, and unyielding, but once you got the situation with Sirena, understood your own feelings, and as a reader I was able to understand you better – dang!!! I know everyone just added a new book boyfriend to their list.
• In previous books, I never got a good sense about Sirena, except that she was a workaholic trying to make everything better. Getting to know more about her personally, her sometimes conflicted feelings about her mate, and her feelings towards her father was very enlightening. I always enjoy the different character perspectives, and Sirena’s was no exception.
• Spa and Velspar… those crazy cats! I wish we could hear their inner monologues. Yes, I know they’re cats, but they definitely know what’s up!
• I don’t know if there are many authors who can write a sex scene like Setta Jay. This is her 10th book of the series, and the sexy times are always different and exciting. Every experience is different for each couple, and it’s amazing to get to read. I hope that doesn’t change in her upcoming works.
• Lucy!!! OMG, was she not perfect? Also, Gregoire and “Papa’s princess”. I knew there was a reason I loved him so!
• The damn Tria! I’m glad to see a fitting conclusion to the havoc they were wreaking, but unfortunately not before some major sadness (don’t want to spoil it!). Random thought, for some reason I never pictured the Tria as having physically human features, but that’s just me.
I know I thought and felt so much more while reading this book, so I was attempting to go back through to find specific parts of it to discuss, and found myself just reading it again. It’s just that good. I’ve loved each book of this series so much, that I’ve been left still thinking about it for days afterwards. This is easily one of my favorite series to read, and I am so looking forward to what Setta brings next!

I've loved this series from the beginning, and this book is no different. Sirens has been one of my favorite characters, and I was happy to see her get the HEA. I was pleased to see all the loose ends tied up and the culmination of what has been coming. Fantastic series!
I loved this series. It was a great summer read. The characters all have depth, intertwining them all. Hot and steaming through the entire series. It does take a minute to understand all the species, the glossary helps with that.
I'm so sad that this is the last book. It was so good! Sirena has always been a strong woman in this series and I loved that she didn't let the "Warlord God" overrule her either. Hroarr was kind of a pain but I loved how he developed as the story went on. The last half of the book sucked me in and I didn't want it to end. I'm going to miss all the characters we met in the series but it ended good for me.
what a great way to end a series knocked it out of the ball park and then some this was one of the best series i have read in a while it had everything. the hotness factor off the charts and it made me laugh out loud and when guys can melt your body< brains<and thought process and also make you laugh what can i say. and these days those strong women made it all come together you just wanted to cheer out loud.do yourself a favor read the series ill tell you a secret i didnt know it was a series until i read i think it was the third book but when i realized what it was i did keep going on to complete the series.so glad i did really great series.(ENJOY AND HAPPY SUMMER)
I was so beyond excited when this went live and now I'm sad that it's over. This book was just as amazing as all the others if not better. This series is hands down one of my favorites and it will be one of those series that I reread at least once a year. You know its an awesome book when you are literally trying to read slower once it gets close to the end but you can't because it's that good. I'm gonna be on pens and needles waiting for Setta Jay's next book and I'll be the happiest gal around if it just so happens to be a spin off series. Hint hint ;)
This book wrapped everything up perfectly & I finished reading it in 3 hours as I didn't want to put it down. This is Sirena's story.
Sirena as you may or may know has been healing the people on Earth for centuries & trying some way to right the wrongs that her evil father Apollo wrought on the world.
Hrroar is from another world & his youngest sister has just mated with a Guardian from Earth when he met Sirena. After being around her he knew that he wanted her in his bed & was arrogant about it & let her Guardian family know; this is the beginning of their mating.
However, you'll have to read the book in order to find out what happens not only between them but also to the world when the Darkness comes to destroy it. This book in of itself was excellent but also as the last book in this series it was an excellent ending.
In book 10 of the Guardians of the Realms series, Sirena finally finds a male strong enough to be worthy of her and complete the mating bond and help the Guardians defeat the impending Darkness but Hroarr is arrogant, demanding and controlling. It is a struggle for Sirena to want to keep working on her Guardian duties and put up with Hroarr and her growing attraction to him.
The back and forth battle of wills between Sirena and Hroarr was entertaining. Sirena is my favorite female Guardian. She is so giving and sacrifices herself for those she loves. I found Hroarr to be such an arrogant jerk but by the end he grew on me.
This was bitter sweet for me. I anxiously waited for Sirena's story but I also knew it would be end of the Guardians of the Realms series. It did not disappoint. I LOVED IT! I am very sad to see the series end but Setta Jay did a wonderful job of wrapping it all up.
